Thank you, Fr. Jay, of reminding us of this special date. Great day to say a prayer to our Blessed John Paul. Brings a tear to our eyes. What an honor as Christians it was to be alive during his reign. Little did we know 31 years ago today what a blessing we had received, what a miraculous Pope he was to be and what love we would grow to have for him and how we would miss him so. He changed our hearts..and in doing so changed the world forever! May he live eternally in our hearts and with our Lord with joy!
I was born in 1984, I saw JPII as an old man, it was sad. Now I'm learning more about him and I am amazed at him. Thanks for sharing this, I didn't think of youtube to learn more about JPII!

He was crowned on my birthday in case you forgot
