For those who think "the good old days of 1950s Catholicism" were perfect.
My presumption comes from them apparently bringing their Missals with them. That, plus the fact that the females' heads are covered. Is it 100% conclusive? No, but close enough.

Cute. Interestingly the little boy's carrying his book like a girl, which makes me wonder if Rockwell was on the dad's side.
How do you know this is a Catholic household with the father satying home from Mass? Maybe the family is Protestant.
